In West Africa barbers are very flexible. They walk around with their kit - some blades, scissors, a mirror, etc - and set up shop wherever they find a nice spot of shade. To advertise their service they often carry a sign showing the kinds of haircuts they specialise in. Each one is a unique work of art hand painted on lightweight plywood.
